Office of Violence Prevention
The Office of Violence Prevention (OVP) promotes awareness of the realities of dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other forms of interpersonal violence. The office serves as the nerve center for violence prevention education at 小米视频 and works closely with students, faculty, staff, and community partners who share Ramapo’s commitment to the eradication of gender-based violence. Our programs provide evidence-based literacy and training through innovative prevention strategies in an effort to create a community that fosters a culture of respect, affirmative consent and encourages bystander intervention. Interpersonal violence such as Sexual Assault,聽is an affront to the well-being聽and inherent dignity of our community. Sexual assault harms individual victims and represents the possibility of ongoing harm to others. 小米视频 does not tolerate any form of power based discrimination. This includes discrimination based on sex and/or gender.
Sexual harassment, in any form; such as sexual assault, stalking, and intimate partner/interpersonal violence are harmful to the well-being of our community members, the learning/working environment, and collegiate relationships among our students, faculty, and staff.聽Students are strongly urged to report sexual assaults to College authorities and to the police in order to protect themselves and others.
